dimension that people bring to the counseling
process that should not be minimized. We believe
in the care of the soul. At the same time, we
believe that it is important not to ignore scientific
advances in the understanding of biological and
psychological human functioning. Healthy spirituality
and healthy human functioning go hand in hand.
We also believe in providing care to the local
congregation. In addition to working with ministers
and their families, we help congregations in conflict
resolution and provide support for incidences
of betrayal or misconduct. We offer a variety
of educational seminars for congregations on topics
such as: teaching caregiving skills, premarital
counseling, stress and burnout, loss and bereavement,
active parenting, death and dying, co-dependency,
transitions, and ministry to cancer patients.
CentrePointe Counseling, Inc. operates under the auspices of an elected Board of Directors and is a ministry of concerned Christians
which began operating in the early 1970s. CentrePointe Counseling, Inc. is open to all persons regardless of race, religious
preference, age, or sex. If we can be of help
to you, please call us. CentrePointe counselors offer day and evening appointments for your convenience. Individuals may be eligible for health insurance
reimbursement. When health insurance does not
cover the cost, scholarships are often available
to make the counseling affordable.
