At CentrePointe Counseling we desire to journey with individuals, couples, families, and organizations at the center, or the heart, of their existence, in that place where spirit, emotion, and mind co-mingle, and where words often fail us.
We come alongside as pastoral counselors who believe there is an important spiritual dimension that people bring to the counseling process. At the same time, we believe it is important not to ignore scientific advances in the understanding of biological and psychological human functioning.
CentrePointe Counseling operates as a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation under the auspices of an elected board of directors and as an affiliate of the Samaritan Institute. It is a ministry of concerned Christians that began in the mid 1970's. CentrePointe is open to all persons regardless of race, religious preference, age, gender, or economic status. Many of our centers are located in churches, but one does not have to be a member of a church to use our services.
Counselors at CentrePointe work with individuals, couples and families, but also provide care to local congregations. In addition to working with ministers and their families, counselors help congregations with conflict mediation, provide support for incidences of betrayal or misconduct, and offer a variety of educational seminars.
Our professional staff offer day, evening, and weekend appointments for your convenience. Individuals may be eligible for health insurance reimbursement. When health insurance does not cover the costs, scholarships are often available to make the counseling affordable.
